Winter 1932-1933 at Beauring marked an exceptional event taking place in an exceptional context. With the beginning of the tragedy of the Second World War, darkness and coldness marked this time. A light appeared in the night. From November 29 th to January 3 rd , the Virgin Mary appeared 33 times to five children: Fernande, Gilberte and Albert Voisin, Andrée and Gilberte Degeimbre.

Today |
Since then millions of people of all races and conditions, colours and beliefs come to Beauraing to pray the Virgin with the golden heart. The place developed, becoming a shrine and an accessible meeting place where happiness and pain are transformed into grace. One and all are enlightened and inspired to continue their spiritual journey in this place of hope.

Location |
Beauraing is a small town in the Calestien, region characterized by a rocky, calcareous soil in the Valley of the Lesse on the threshold of the vast Ardennes massif. Beauraing is part of the province of Namur and is located about twenty kilometers south of Dinant and ten kilometers east of the french town of Givet.
